Blossom Lodge Day Nursery was conceived when an old franchise nursery was completely redeveloped, creating an environment for children that is caring, loving, nurturing and safe. Needing a brand that reflected this, we were approached and asked to transform their branding in the same way they transformed the nursery.
Turning a building into a brand
When creating the logo we took classic nursery clichés, such as the handprints and bright colours, and put a clean, contemporary spin on them, updating them for the modern nursery. The brand’s tone of voice promotes a warm and childlike character in support of the nursery’s values for children and families. A vibrant colour palette and the Blossom Tree are key components across print and digital, creating a strong and recognisable brand identity.
The nursery’s new branding was met with acclaim from staff and families alike. Our illustrations can be seen throughout the nursery and have become a key part of Blossom Lodge’s identity; the branding has also brought together all of the nursery’s paperwork, encouraging engagement from both parents and children.
